We are making gradual enhancements to our remember weight and packing plan rules, to automatically split order or add extra packages during order download.
Marketplace typically has rules to allow multiple packages or split orders, or both. But the rules are different. Teapplix allows you to specify the rule but will adapt it based on specific marketplace requirements.
For example, Aamzon Vendor forces most sellers to purchase shipping label from Amazon. As a result all labels must be purchased at the same time and it is not possible to split an order for separate fulfillment.
Other marketplace like Home Depot will allow you to both split order or make extra packages.
In Teapplix design, there are 2 type of rules that can automate the process of adding split orders or extra packages:
remember weight rule - this focus on what happens to an SKU, when it shows up in an order as multiple quantity or with other items. Here, you can specify that this SKU ships in its own package, or in its own list of packages, and not combined with others. You can specify this on the Inventory -> Weight table screen, and specify if you use extra package or split order to implement this. If an order has more than one such SKU, or have such SKU mixed with other items, each copy of this SKU will be separated into own packages or child orders. Teapplix has just released enhancements that this type of rule can be specified via our UI, and will be executed on marketplaces that support them (we will be adding more so please check with support)

packing plan rule - this focus on a combination of several SKUs at different quantities. When the order matches the combination exactly, then the rule will specify how the order will be split into child orders or extra packages. Currently, Teapplix has released the user interface allowing you to specify such rules, but their execution will be released later after internal testing.
Uploading Tracking
If you split an order, or create extra packages, ActionShip may upload the first / main tracking number, or all tracking numbers, based on the marketplace specifics. We will be updating our help page on individual marketplaces with this info.

On or after March 25, 2024, we plan to release updates to our CSV order reports. This will include both one line per order report and one line per item report.
We use to refrain adding new columns to the report due to some of our customers using software to process these reports. Starting next week we will add new columns in the report. As our integration gets enhanced, we have more and more information on orders that our customers want, so it is no longer feasible to keep the order report columns fixed.
If you currently use program to parse the csv reports, we have the following suggestion:
do not use fixed position based way to access data. Teapplix csv reports have headers. We never change the header name for a given field, we only add new fields. You should use field name to lookup data in csv
If you absolutely cannot do any of the above, Teapplix Support can make a customization of your account and fix the report format, but you will not get any future enhancements.

Please note: this change only affect Walmart Vendor platform (WalmartDSV) integration and has no impact to Walmart Seller marketplace (Walmart) integration.
Walmart has announced that after March 1st, 2024, integrations with Walmart Vendor (WalmartDSV) using Consumer ID / Secret key authentication will stop working. All Walmart Vendors should migrate to the new OAuth2 Token based authentication, using the Client ID / Client Secret pair.
Here is a brief description of the timelines of release on Teapplix side:
At end of day on February 22, 2024, Teapplix web page for WalmartDSV integration will be changed such that you can no longer add or edit the old Consumer ID based integration. We have marked them as obsolete. If you add or edit integrations, you will be asked to enter the new Client ID and Client Secret and integrate the new way.
Between Feb 22nd to 25th, Teapplix will work with a few customers to beta test the new token based authentication.
On or after February 26th, 2024, customers that integrate with Walmart Vendor (WalmartDSV) must edit their integration and enter the new Client ID / Client Secret. The process to obtain Client ID / Client Secret is documented by Walmart and you should have received an email with details. If you are not clear about it please contact Walmart support.
After March 1st the old and obsolete integrations using Consumer ID will stop working and may be deleted.

If you sell on Amazon and allow item customizations, this change concerns you. We are making changes on how order customizations are downloaded for amazon orders.
We use to place the CustomizeURL on the memo field. Because there could be one customization per line, for an order with many lines this becomes messy.
We will change order download to save customization url on the item_custom field of the line item.
There will be a display setting (default off) that will show item_custom on open orders and order options. If you sell items on Amazon with item options, make sure you turn on this display settings.
This change is scheduled to be released on February 26th, 2024. Before that, please adjust your display settings based on your needs.

Nonstandard Package Fees for Ground Advantage
Ground Advantage ship methods will be subjected to nonstandard fees. The nonstandard fees for USPS Ground Advantage are:
$4 fee for packages greater than 22" up to 30" in length
$8.4 fee for packages greater than 30" in length
$18 fee for packages greater than 2 cubic feet in volume

Teapplix just released integration to TikTok Shop. Our app is designed to download 'Fulfilled by Seller(FULFILLMENT_BY_SELLER)' orders. For now we do not support 'Fulfilled by TikTok(FULFILLMENT_BY_TIKTOK)' orders and skip them during download.
We are truly excited about TikTok shop, because it represents a rare high volume growth opportunity for our sellers. Initial feedback has been very very strong volume wise from some of our sellers.
You can link and integrate TikTok Shop the same way as any other marketplace. Feel free go give us feedback, and please give us 5-star reviews in TikTok app store so we can dedicate more resources to better serve you.
We have updated how Amazon Shipping Ground labels will be printed for Amazon orders:
if your select 'Use Amazon Buy Shipping' on your Amazon integration, your amazon orders will print Amazon Shipping Ground using Amazon's buy shipping API, this is effectively the same as printing the label from your seller central
if you did not turn on the above, your Amazon Shipping Ground label will print using Amazon's shipping API v2, this is effectively the same as how off-Amazon label is printed. This option may bypass certain Amazon policy enforcements for Amazon orders

USPS is announcing a new service, Ground Advantage which will combine First-Class Mail and Parcel Select Ground ship methods. Teapplix customers will enjoy discounted rates for certain packages when using this shipping method. There
will be minimal impact to current Teapplix customers as First-Class Mail and Parcel Select Ground ship methods used in the setup of Remember Weight, Automatic Filter, Rate Shop, and API Program will be automatically converted.

We have released enhancements to our user interface to allow tagging orders. An order can have one or more tags assigned to it (with colors too). You can search for orders with specific tags.
Historically we have used queues to organize orders. However, some customers are more used to tags, so now both features are available. The important difference is that an order belongs to one single queue, but can have 0 or 1 or multiple Tags.
There is also a special page under Orders --> All Unshipped. This page list all unshipped orders, from any queue. are displayed. If your work flow is tags oriented, this maybe a starting page to assign tags and move orders around, before they are printed. Notice that currently you cannot perform batch print from this page. Also, this page has a separate display settings that are distinct from the rest of Open orders pages.
We have updated our way to link an UPS account, as per latest UPS recommendations. Instead of entering your billing address and invoice information, you will only be asked your UPS shipper number and then re-directed to ups to login to UPS. After login your UPS account will be linked to Teapplix.
When you link make sure you login to Teapplix using www.teapplix.com domain name.
Currently, there is an open issue, that UPS accounts linked this way, cancel shipping label do not work. We are working with UPS to resolve this issue.
